Sephora Rose Mask Review!

Sephora Rose Mask Review!

Hey guys!

Today I'm reviewing the Sephora Rose Mask. I actually received this as a freebie before Sephora opened up in Sydney (lucky me) but if you're interested in trying one now, single sheets retail for $4. I was very excited to try this mask as it claims to to be ultra hydrating and brightening! According to the instructions, you're supposed to place the sheet mask on the skin for 20 minutes.

Upon opening the sachet, I was shocked to see so much liquid in there! The mask was so saturated that I actually spilled a little on my pyjamas. Once the sheet was on, I have to say it is quite pleasant. It had an immediate cooling effect which was very comfortable. I also did feel an immediate moisture surge in my skin texture. Here is what the mask looks like, please forgive the silly photo!

After 20 minutes of using the mask, my skin was still cool despite the mask sheet becoming really warm. I'm pleased to report that the results of the mask were really nice as well. The cooling feeling of the mask made my skin feel tight and firm. It also did make my skin feel really moist and look nice and radiant. I also noticed my pore size had shrunk and my skin felt smoother which is always a plus! The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the residue left on my skin. I felt it was a little too oily... It was easy to fix though, I just rinsed off the excess residue from my skin and I was good to go!

I found that the mask was also so saturated after I was done that I didn't want to waste it. I know some people will disagree with this, but hey I was the only one who used it, and it was on my freshly cleansed face so I had no problem with doing this - I used the mask on my heels! Because the mask was so saturated and I saw the amazing benefits it had on my skin, I decided to place the mask on my heels for 5 minutes on each side. It moisturised my heels so well! The five minutes it was on there made a huge difference. If you have dry heels and have used this mask, don't let the excess serum go to waste! This mask is definitely VERY multi purposed!

As you can tell, I really enjoyed this mask! If you haven't tried it, I definitely recommend picking it up!

Love,
Nur x

  1. There is a place called Ulta Beauty near me, I'm not sure if there is one in Sydney, anyway, they have a Rose peel mask, too. I have always been skeptical about the peel masks but I am going to try for my next monthly trip to the beauty store. Sephora has always been a bit out of my budget. I wish I knew how much this retailed for!

    1. Hey Kat! Unfortunately there isn't an Ulta Beauty in Sydney :( I always hear good things about it, so hopefully one will open up soon! I just went to Sephora yesterday to check the price of this mask and it turns out a single sheet retails for $4 AUD. Hope that helps!
