This week was parcel week at my house. Well it's always parcel week at my house because I'm an internet shopping addict! That said, this week was different, this week was full of fashion and beauty hauls which I cannot wait to share with you!
Now that does not look like much and that's because it's not. There were many more parcels than that, but I couldn't fit them all into the photo! During the week I will be unboxing these babies and showing you everything I bought (LOTS of jewellery, sunglasses, clothes and makeup). I also plan to post onto my blog and Instagram various looks I've created using these items so keep your eyes peeled for that!
To start us off, I have decided to show my purchases from The Iconic (http://www.theiconic.com.au/). I LOVE SHOPPING AT THE ICONIC!!! It's the perfect site to shop at. It stocks everything from clothing and footwear to beauty and perfume. And I love that I'm shopping locally. Don't get me wrong, I love shopping at ASOS and Missguided however shopping locally is great as I literally can receive the item anywhere between 3 hours to a day after placing my order.
So those are the items I purchased. I purchased two items by the brand Ezra and two from 1&20 Blackbirds.
The bag is from Ezra. It's the Double Front Zipper Bag (http://www.theiconic.com.au/Double-Front-Zipper-Bag-144661.html). Why a new bag you ask? I do have plenty of bags which I love switching up and recently, I broke the strap on one of my favourite bags! Hence this bag purchase. I love the simplicity of it, the zipper detail, the long strap I can use to carry it with, the large size and the price! For $29.95 this bag is a steal! I can fit my ipad in, my ASUS 13.3" Ultrabook UX32VD (https://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/ASUS_ZENBOOK_UX32VD/), my books, makeup, basically anything a young woman would need to carry on a daily basis.
Next up I purchased two cropped shirts. The Floral Woven Tee by Ezra (http://www.theiconic.com.au/Woven-Tee-141093.html) and the Scoop Crop Tee by 1&20 Blackbirds (http://www.theiconic.com.au/Scoop-Crop-Tee-133804.html). I love pairing cropped shirts with fit and flare skirts. SUPER CUTE COMBO!!
Lastly I purchased a pair of earrings by 1&20 Blackbirds (http://www.theiconic.com.au/Bug-Earrings-130838.html). These "Bug Earrings" are definitely not buggy! They're super cute and I love the colour pop I achieve when I have these on! They can definitely brighten up any outfit.
Anyway that's all for today! As always, wherever you are in the world, hope you have a great day and keep being beautiful!
Lots of love,

Target, Priceline and Miscellaneous Beauty Haul! + Something a Little Bit Fancy
Buying excessive amounts of beauty products is something I am quite guilty of. Although I should probably be saving up for a car - or the future, when it comes to makeup, nail polish or clothes, I just can't help myself! Even if I couldn't close my wardrobe or had no more storage space (you get the gist) I'd still be purchasing items to add to my stash.
That said, my post today is on a little beauty shopping spree I went on. Target and Priceline were having a 30% and 40% off beauty and makeup sale this week and despite my attempts of avoiding them, I caved in and bought some items!
From Priceline, I purchased three items: the Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Foundation Stick in shade 235 Pure Beige, Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Sun Bronze and the new Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser for Dry Skin Repair. I needed a matte bronzer as I've gotten quite tanned since summer so my foundations are running a little light on me. The foundation was something I was really interested in trying since I first noticed it popping up in various YouTube videos, so I had to buy it! I purchased the moisturiser as (I am ashamed to admit) I can get quite lazy in moisturising my skin, particularly my legs, and as the colder months are approaching, I thought it'd help me with that process since a spray is just so simple and handy!
I purchased the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, Olay Fresh Effects Powered Contour System and the Garnier Moisture Match Combination/Oily Mattifying Fresh Cream from Target. All three are new items on Australian shelves so I got a really good introductory price on them. I'm always up for trying out new facial care products so I had to try these! I was especially excited to try the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water as I've never been interested in trying the usual makeup removers you see at drug stores which look really oily or full of chemicals. For this reason, I usually just double cleanse. This one however looks like water and smells like it too so I was immediately pulled to it. Not to mention I really love the clear packaging with the pink and white detailing on the sticker and lid. Very cute!
I also made a few naughty purchases from Target and they are perfumes. They had a great offer in store and that was 'Buy three for the price of two on all clearance items in the beauty department'. Since it was Target, pretty much the whole department was on clearance so I had A LOT of choices. Now as I mentioned before, I love all beauty items, and this includes perfumes. I already have quite a large collection of perfumes so I was more than happy to add to it. Since all three of the perfumes I purchased were on sale for $40 each, I was able to purchase all three bottles for $80 using the offer! This was a great deal considering the perfumes I chose to buy.
I decided to purchase DKNY Be Delicious, Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift and Dolce & Gabbana The One For Men (for the special man in my life). I don't know what it is about that scent but I absolutely love it on him! It's so fresh, elegant and masculine all at the same time! I already gave him the bottle so I don't have a picture of it for you guys today. I'd also like to mention that both Wonderstruck and Be Delicious are really pretty scents! There were no testers so I just went with my gut instincts and chose them. What a good choice that was Nur! They both have nice sweet scents which are the types of scents I LOVE!!! So all in all, wonderful purchases which I have no regrets for!
Now to my fancy purchase... I'm not usually someone who will pay a lot of money for a product that has a big brand name on it. I'm more a sucker for quality as opposed to brand name so this purchase was really out of character for me. I purchased a Clarifying Lotion by Dolce & Gabbana for $25. Now I say this is fancy because firstly look at that gorgeous packaging!!!!! Secondly, $25 is a ridiculous amount to charge for a toner, especially since the Simple toner I usually use is priced anywhere between $8-$10 and has 50 ml more product in it. That said, I don't regret this purchase, even if it does the same thing as my drug store toner, at least the bottle is pretty and will look great on my shelf! ;)
Anyway that concludes my haul post! As always, wherever you are in the world, hope you have a great day and keep being beautiful!

The start of something new!
Being a beauty and fashion fanatic alone can be quite a lonely experience. I always find myself spending so much money (almost every week) on various forms of makeup or fashion items; and only being able to appreciate it myself - which kinda sucks.
For a long time, I've always enjoyed watching YouTube videos and reading various blogs on make up and fashion. Hours would literally pass by and no matter how much I've read or watched, it felt like I could just keep on going through the posts and never get bored! Now, I always knew that makeup and fashion were more than just a hobby to me - they were a passion, and they still are.
For years I've watched bloggers share their experiences with makeup and fashion and I've always wanted to do the same! But I couldn't.... I was afraid of sharing. I know that sounds odd but I'm sure there are plenty of other people out there who feel exactly the same. Sharing my thoughts and ideas to people I know are second nature to me, but doing it online... The thought of sharing my views on such a public platform with people I hadn't met and basically putting myself out there, open to scrutiny, it was scary. And the thought of it still is. Despite my fears, I was convinced by my boyfriend to just give it a go. So I did.
Today I posted my first video on YouTube. It was a haul video and I could see so many things wrong with it! The lighting, the video quality, the sound quality, the list goes on. Despite how I felt about it, I decided to post it anyway. Everyone has to start somewhere right? Whether it be the first YouTube video or first blog post (both of which I decided to attempt today) a start is the best thing to do. Because without starting something you'll never know if you're going to succeed or fail. You can only improve after you start right?
Hopefully I'll be able to succeed, get confident and be able to share with you my views on makeup and fashion. That's the ultimate goal, because enjoying them myself isn't as fun as being able to share and enjoy them with the beautiful people who appreciate them too! So here goes, the start of something new!
Anyway, that's all for today!
Lots of love,
Nur xx
